China Southern Power Grid Corporation's first batch of framework bidding projects for distribution network equipment materials in 2020 "Inverter Rail Transit Energy Feedback Device Application Research Technology Project" successfully passed the expert assessment

The assessment conference of the "Inverter Rail Transit Energy Feedback Device", which was jointly developed and produced by Beijing CREAT Borun and China Railway Electric Industry Co., Ltd. Baoding Railway Transformer Branch, was held at the Fuzhou Metro Company on January 9th, 2021.

The assessment conference consisted of two parts: experts’ on-site verification and experts review. After the procedures of results report, expert inquiries, and project application introduction, the research project passed the assessment.

Because the metro has the features of “lots of stations, short distances, high running speeds, frequent starting and braking”, and etc., it makes the "application research of inverter rail transit energy feedback device" have great significance. Researching problems such as the reuse of transportation energy is also imminent. Passing the assessment solved this big problem in a fundamental sense. It not only saves the kinetic energy of the metro and reduces the weight of the vehicle, but also reduces the operation and maintenance workload of the vehicle and reduces the cost of the vehicle.

This achievement is also a new breakthrough for Beijing CREAT Borun in the field of energy feedback, laying the foundation for further development in this field.
